Terms of service are usually written to be unreadable. Ours isn’t going to be short — there’s a certain amount that legally has to be here — but it will at least be in a language you speak.
By using pressdeep.com, you’re agreeing to what’s below. If you don’t agree with it, the honest answer is that you shouldn’t use the site.
The Short Version
Before the detail, here’s the whole thing in six lines:
- Read anything you like. It’s free, and there’s no account required.
- Don’t copy our articles wholesale and republish them as your own.
- Quote us, link to us, argue with us — all encouraged.
- Be civil in the comments. Disagree all you want; don’t harass people.
- We’re a publication, not an advisor. Your decisions are yours.
- If something’s broken or unfair, email us. We’d rather fix it than fight about it.
Everything below is the detail behind those six points.
Using the Site
PressDeep is free to read. You don’t need an account, you don’t need to log in, and you don’t need to hand over a single piece of information to access anything we publish.
In return, we ask that you use the site lawfully and reasonably. Specifically, don’t:
- Attempt to break, overload, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its servers
- Scrape our content at scale, whether for republishing, resale, or training commercial models
- Introduce malware, viruses, or anything else designed to cause harm
- Impersonate PressDeep, our writers, or anyone else
- Use the site to harass, threaten, defame, or endanger anyone
- Do anything illegal, basically
We reserve the right to block access to anyone who does these things. We’d rather never have to.
Our Content, and What You Can Do With It
Everything on PressDeep — the articles, the analysis, the research, the layout, the design, the name, the logo — is our work. It’s protected by copyright and it belongs to us.
That said, we are not precious about this, because journalism only works when it circulates. So here’s exactly where the lines are.
You can, freely and without asking:
- Read, print, and save anything for your own personal use
- Share our links anywhere you like — social media, group chats, email, a forum, a lamppost
- Quote us in your own work, as long as it’s a reasonable excerpt, we’re credited as PressDeep, and you link back to the original article
- Cite us in academic work, research, or your own reporting
- Argue with us in public, at length, using our own words against us
You can’t, without written permission:
- Republish our articles in full, or in substantial part, anywhere else
- Present our work as your own, or strip our byline off it
- Sell our content, or put it behind your own paywall
- Rewrite our reporting closely enough that it’s ours with the serial numbers filed off
- Scrape the site to build a dataset or train a commercial AI model
- Use our name or logo in a way that implies we endorse you when we don’t
Want to republish something properly? Just ask: contact@buytextlinks.com. We’re generally happy to say yes, and we’re easy about it.
The short principle: build on our work, credit our work, don’t steal our work. Reporting is expensive and slow, and the people who do it deserve the traffic.
Comments and Contributions
Comments are open because disagreement makes the work better. Some of our best corrections have come from readers who knew more than we did.
When you post a comment, you keep ownership of what you wrote. You’re granting us permission to display it on the site, and to keep displaying it. You’re also confirming it’s actually yours to post and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights.
We’ll remove comments that are: harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, spam, deliberately deceptive, doxxing, or promotional junk.
We won’t remove comments that: disagree with us, criticize our work, point out our errors, or are simply blunt about it. Those are the useful ones.
We moderate, but we don’t pre-screen everything, and we’re not responsible for the content of reader comments. A comment is the view of the person who wrote it, not of PressDeep.
Story Tips and Submissions
If you send us a tip, a document, or a story idea, we may use it in our reporting. Sending us something doesn’t create any obligation on our part — to publish it, to pay for it, or to keep it confidential unless you’ve asked us to and we’ve agreed.
If you need confidentiality, say so clearly in your first message, and we’ll handle it that way from that moment on. Our source protection standards are set out in the Editorial Policy.
Unsolicited article pitches and submissions are welcome, but sending one doesn’t entitle you to publication or payment. If we want to run something you’ve written, we’ll agree terms with you first.
Not Professional Advice
This bears repeating here, briefly, because it matters most.
Nothing on PressDeep is financial, legal, medical, tax, or professional advice of any kind. We publish journalism. Journalism informs decisions; it doesn’t make them for you, and it can’t account for your specific situation.
Our full position is on the Disclaimer page. Please read it — particularly if you cover markets, health, or anything with real consequences attached.
Accuracy
We work hard to be accurate, and our standards are public in the Editorial Policy. But we’re not infallible, no publication is, and we don’t warrant that everything on the site is complete, current, and error-free at every moment.
Stories develop. Articles age. Check the date on what you’re reading. And if you spot an error, tell us — contact@buytextlinks.com — we’d rather be embarrassed in private and correct in public.
External Links and Third Parties
We link out constantly, because citing sources is how honest reporting works.
Once you follow a link off our site, you’re on someone else’s, under their terms and their privacy policy. We don’t control external sites and aren’t responsible for them. A link is not a blanket endorsement.
The same applies to advertisers and affiliate partners: their products, claims, and practices are theirs, not ours.
Availability
We aim to keep the site online and working. We can’t promise it will be available uninterrupted, permanently, or free of technical faults. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site, and we may occasionally have to take it down for maintenance without warning.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PressDeep is not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the site, your reliance on anything published here, or your dealings with any third party you found through us.
The site is provided “as is.” In plain terms: read us, learn from us, argue with us — but the decisions you make are yours.
Nothing here excludes any liability that can’t be excluded under the law that applies to you.
Privacy
How we handle your data is covered fully in our Privacy Policy. The short version: we collect very little, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site grows or the law changes. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be flagged clearly on the site — we won’t quietly rewrite the rules and hope you don’t notice.
Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending Access
You can stop using PressDeep at any time. No account to cancel, nothing to unsubscribe from unless you signed up for the newsletter — and that’s one click.
We reserve the right to block access to anyone who abuses the site, harasses others, or violates these terms.
